What: Delivering Happiness Bus Event
Date: September 3
Time: 8 - 11 pm
Details: Event at Underground nightclub, 56 West Illinois Street. Angel wings will be distributed to all who donate $20 to local charity Imerman Angels. The Delivering Happiness Bus will be parked outside of Underground for tours throughout the night.
What Happened Yesterday:
Tony Hsieh, Jenn Lim and Ava started the day at a radio station, appearing live on Ben Kieffer’s Iowa Public Radio Show, “The Exchange."
It was then off, for the whole crew, to the classroom of University of Iowa professor David Gould. A class poll was taken post-lecture, and 30-plus students accompanied us back to the Delivering Happiness Bus for a tour.
After we checked the bus for hidden After a few shirts purchased at the campus outfitters, we were off!
But only 45-minutes after hitting the road we found ourselves on another detour, this time, to the World's Largest Truck Stop. There was a dentist, food court, sit-down restaurant, shower, t-shirts, DVD store, arcade, and every nicknack you could imagine.
Luckily we escaped without buying too much (although we can't say we escaped without doing a photo shoot) and were once again Chicago bound.
Tomorrow's jam-packed, and wraps with a 3-hour event at Underground nightclub in Chicago. Here is the breakdown of how to meet up wtih us tomorrow.
