Want a cool tip for making happy work online or at the office in less than 10 minutes? Make ice cream together!
Here's how the DH Team did it:
Assemble ingredients ahead of time:
1/2 cup kosher salt
1 c Half-and-Half
2 T sugar
1/2 t vanilla
ice
1 resealable sandwich bag
1 or 2 gallon-size resealable bags
a dish towel
For virtual meetings, login after completing (below) steps 1 and 2; follow rest of steps together.
Steps:
1. Fill large bag half full of ice. Add the salt.
2. In the sandwich bag, mix Half-and-Half, sugar, and vanilla. Seal tightly.
3. Place small sandwich bag inside large bag. Seal large bag. If you want extra protection from dripping, put it all in a second resealable bag.
4. Wrap dish towel around the big bag and shake until the ice cream thickens (about 5 minutes).
5. Wipe the salt off the small bag and scoop into a bowl. Be WOWed. It's damn good.
