Wow! Our Delivering Happiness Facebook community had so many fantastic responses to this week's question: If you could give your 10-year-old self one piece of advice for a happy life, what would it be? Here are just a few of our favorite answers:

  • Dance, dance, dance! And ALWAYS have an attitude of gratitude. :) -Len Concepcion
  • Borrowed this quote from John Lennon...“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.” -Kitty Kuhns
  • Remember how to play. -Julie Sumner Garibaldi
  • Feeling worthy and feeling entitled are two very different things. You are often worthy. You are never entitled.  -Andy Jankowski
  • I would tell it in the form of story which is as follows: There’s a story of a Navajo grandfather who told his grandson that in each of us lives two wolves. The wolf of fear, doubt, pettiness and anger, and the wolf of love, compassion, happiness and kindness. These two wolves are in constant fight within us. "But, Grandfather" said the child, "Which one will win?” "The one you feed," answered the grandfather. -Kartik Tanna
  • Learn to forgive yourself as well as others! -Charli Pestel
  • Don't be in such a hurry to grow up, enjoy your childhood, there is plenty of time to be an adult, but never enough time to be a kid. -Amy Alexander-Kim
  • Don't let anyone tell you that you're weird. You're great just the way you are. -Bev Short
  • Ignore your parents. Study Art. -Beth Pine
  • Do what makes your heart sing :) -Ellen Trump
